Gillibrand is the fourth Democratic candidate to appear at a town hall meeting hosted by Fox News, joining Bernie Sanders, Pete Buttigieg and Amy Klobuchar. Several other candidates, including Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris, have refused to participate with the network citing reports of bias.
"Infanticide, it doesn't exist," she said. Wallace quickly interrupted, stating that the network had hosted her for over an hour and treated her fairly. He then added that he wasn't"sure it's frankly very polite" for her to condemn their coverage of the issue. "It's illegal. It's not a fact. And I believe all of us have a responsibility to talk about the facts," she said, adding that"what happens on Fox News is relevant because they talked about infanticide for six and a half hours—six and a half hours—right before President Trump's State of the Union."
