As News 12 reported, two people died and four others were seriously hurt as a result of the crash on Great East Neck Road and Railroad Avenue early Saturday morning.
Saturday morning’s fatal car crash in West Babylon has neighbors calling on Suffolk County and Town of Babylon officials to do something to make a notoriously dangerous intersection safer.
A spokesperson for Suffolk County Executive Ed Romaine's office tells News 12 that “a study has been initiated by the county and we will review the findings when it is completed.” "Why are you not here today? There are people fighting for their lives right now because of the county's inability to create a safe roadway here,” she said.
