During long term pandemic lockdowns, he noted, there was a challenge to eat well and deal with stress. During that time, we also relearned to help one another, and that social interaction is important for collective wellness.Regarding healthy eating, he paraphrased author Michael Pollen’s advice to eat real food, not processed. Not too much and mostly plants. Strang recommended the updated Canada Food Guide that calls for half of our plates to be covered in fruit and vegetables.
