Wellington Dukes defeat Chargers
The Wellington Dukes defeated the Mississauga Chargers 6-3 on Friday night.
Jared Langdon, Luke Strickland, Jacob Vreugdenhill, Edward Moskowitz, and Matheson Mason scored for the Dukes. The Dukes opened scoring less than four minutes into the action-packed first frame, with the chargers claiming two goals afterwards to take the lead. The Dukes evened the score out before the intermission, going into second period tied 2-2. During the second period, the Dukes found the back of the net twice and built a healthy lead.
The Chargers tried to come back and scored again in the third, but two more goals by the Dukes sealed the deal and won them the game.
