A “significant” snow squall is expected to hammer Prince Edward County beginning today and continuing through the weekend, according to Environment Canada.
Forecasters are warning of “significant lake effect snow” along Lake Ontario from Friday morning through Saturday night. The Ottawa region will see a few flurries Friday morning, then mainly cloudy conditions with a 30 per cent chance of flurries through the day.
