Some may even have switched over to washable cloths and others are looking at inflated toilet roll prices with irritation. Enter the bidet.
They’re used around the world, separate toilet shaped objects in European hotels, fancy Japanese butt-sprayers with different streams, seat warmers and even noise-covering acoustics, and the good old South Asian variety: A hose with a nozzle on the end . Canadians love their toilet paper. On average we use 85 rolls a year, and as Rita DeMontis writes, there are, not to mention — but yeah, we’re going to mention — the indelicately named “polished anus syndrome.” Which leads to the bidet.
