Diane Keaton, Goldie Hawn, and Bette Midler are officially reuniting onscreen.

Technically, the plot of the new film diverges a little from the original—Hawn, Keaton, and Midler’s characters were all married to different useless men, not the same one—but it sounds like the core tenet of women bonding in the wake of man-induced trauma will stay the same. The film pitch was just acquired by New Republic Pictures, so we’re a ways off from spiking our concession-stand Diet Coke with vodka and enjoying its premiere on the big screen, but for now at least we have
