Antonio Van Wyk scored the decisive goal for Stellies just before the half-time break and Pirates could not recover, as they were shut out by a resolute defence in the second stanza.Riveiro says the field at Danie Craven Stadium made things difficult for them and with Stellies defending deep, they struggled to create clear opportunities.
"In one of those situations they punished us, in transition, from there it was trying to do everything in order to equalize, little by little the opponent was defending more deep.
