The manager of one of Cristiano Ronaldo's former clubs currently competing in the UEFA Champions League has admitted that re-signing the under-fire The Portuguese forward recently reached a consensus with Erik ten Hag and returned to first-team training following his exclusion from the matchday squad for United's game against Chelsea at the weekend.
In the most recent transfer window, a number of clubs were said to be interested in the 37-year-old, including Sporting Lisbon, Chelsea and Napoli, among others, but a move failed to materialise.
