Cyclists in Italy could soon be made to comply with a raft of new measures, in an attempt to reduce the number of deaths on the roads.
This week the country's deputy PM announced plans to make it compulsory for cyclists to wear a helmet and have indicators fitted to their bikes. But the proposals went further, with the introduction of number plates and insurance policies for cyclists. The proposals were met with mixed reactions, with some saying the move would deter people from cycling. Others, however, were in favour of the move.Take our poll to share your views.
