Former Msunduzi deputy mayor Makhosi Khoza, who is currently the provincial chairperson of a newly-formed political party, ActionSA, said the anarchy seen in the country in recent days has made citizens realise that they cannot entrust the current governing party with their security and livelihoods.
“In the final analysis, it is us, the ordinary citizens that will rebuild our cities and province. We need to work together and protect what we have left. We need to organise ourselves, ignite a sense of community and protect each other. We need to be vigilant and not abandon the social cohesion agenda,” she said.
