The exams started on Tuesday and more than 38,000 candidates across the Western Cape are registered.
CAPE TOWN - The mid-year session of the National Senior Certificate exam for Western Cape learners who want to improve their matric results is currently under way.The Western Cape education department said the mid-year session offers learners - who completed Grade 12 exams between November 2008 and November 2022 an opportunity to rewrite subjects to complete or improve their matric qualification.
Education MEC David Maynier said it was also an opportunity for adult learners to get a matric qualification. "If any candidate has not received their registration letter or needs assistance, they can contact the exams hotline on 0861 819 919 during office hours or visit the ‘exams’ page on the WCED website."
