QUINTE CONSERVATION ISSUES A WATERSHED CONDITIONS STATEMENT – FLOOD OUTLOOK DUE TO WARMING TEMPERATURES AND RAINFALL
Although widespread flooding is not expected this weekend, Quinte Conservation forecasts that water levels will reach or exceed bankfull conditions this spring. Residents in flood prone or low-lying areas are reminded to be prepared and take the necessary precautions to protect their property. Please ensure sump pumps are functioning and the outlet is clear from obstruction.
