A water main break closed Susitna Elementary School in East Anchorage on Wednesday, officials said.
Susitna students will have a remote-learning day, according to a message to families from Principal Jessie Nesset. Families were asked to use a remote learning packet sent home last week and watch for communication from teachers. Anchorage School District maintenance crews were working with municipal staff to fix the problem, Nesset said.This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
