JOHANNESBURG - Two people have been arrested in Protea Glen, Soweto for selling illegal trading permits and permits for movement around the city and the country.This follows a tip-off about people selling fake essential services permits to traders.
Johannesburg Metro Police spokesperson Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar says the suspects have been the permits to traders for R300 each."The councilor, whose name appears on the permit alerted us, that's how we were able to trace the source of where these permits were being made," Minnaar said.
