Tom Cruise delivered a special holiday message to Top Gun: Maverick fans while completing a skydiving stunt, saying the film’s success has been an “honor of a lifetime.”
While preparing to jump off a helicopter in South Africa for a shot in his next Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning parts one and two films, Cruise thanked fans and wished them a happy holiday.“I didn’t want the year to end without thanking you all for coming out to the theaters and thank you for supporting Top Gun: Maverick,” Cruise said.
Cruise then began free falling and said: “Thank you for supporting Top Gun: Maverick, and thank you for allowing us to entertain you. It truly is the honor of a lifetime. Very lucky.”
