Funeral parlor owners say they have buried many family members and this has caused great worry.

JOHANNESBURG -Funeral parlours have been raising awareness about the importance of getting vaccinated.

Over 40 cars and hearses drove to Soweto's busiest malls on Tuesday, where pamphlets were handed out, highlighting the importance of vaccinating. They argue the traffic they saw in the second wave should not happen again as people can now vaccinate and minimise the impact of the virus.Funeral parlour owners say they have buried many family members and this has caused great worry. Out of care for their customers, they decided to take to the street and raise awareness once more.

The funeral parlours say since the beginning of COVID-19, the economy has taken a great hit and most people are now struggling to bury their family members because of the unemployment rate.Watch the video above for more details on this story
