Scot Gemmill's side are hoping to reach the European Championships at U21 level for the first time since 1996.
Scotland's U21 side continue their quest to qualify for the Euros in Romania and Georgia next summer with a huge clash against Spain at Tynecastle.
A second place finish would be enough for Scotland to progress to next years' tournament, having not appeared in the U21 European Championships since they reached the final in 1996. But with third-place Belgium trailing them only by virtue of goal difference, Gemmil's team know they must navigate the remaining four games if they want to end that long wait.
Spanish football is riding the crest of a wave after their Euro 2024 and Olympic Games triumphs last summer, and Scotland are fully aware that they will have to be on their A-game in Gorgie if they have any intention of pulling off a shock result.
