It comes after a picture on social media showing the minister having lunch at former deputy Minister, Mduduzi Manana's home.Mazwe Majola of the World Institute of Leadership and Development says the suspension is not enough.

“We commend him for the decision he has made but I don't think it's not commensurate with the deed the minister has done. For placing Stella [Ndabeni-Abrahams] on leave for two-months is not adequate. The President was supposed to be strong and send a clear and very strong to his comrades and to the nation as well,” Majola said.

“He was supposed to fire the minister. It was a slap on the wrist.
