Prince William who is in South Africa for the Earthshot Prize Awards met with President of Ramaphosa in Cape Town.
The Prince of Wales is in South Africa to host the 4th Annual Earthshot Prize Awards Ceremony which is taking place in Cape Town on November 6, 2024.receives a courtesy call from His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales at Genadendal, the official residence of the President in Cape Town , Western Cape.
“South Africa is pleased to be the host country for this year’s awards, especially because of the focus this initiative places on the impact climate change and environmental degradation has on the African Continent,” the Presidency said. The Presidency said that the awards have created local jobs and offered an opportunity for artists and designers in the country to showcase their talent.
