Musician and businesswoman Nomcebo Zikode recently visited the community of Tongaat , in KwaZulu-Natal, following a tornado that decimated the area on 3 June.over 7 000 households were affected in KZN following the devastating floods, with over six districts in the province suffering damage.
A video she shared shows Nomcebo shopping for blankets, pillows and non-perishable food packs before making her way to the area to hand them out.about her visit, she said: “This disaster was very tragic. I felt it was important for us to come here promptly and lend a helping hand. It was very hard to not feel sorry for these people because they already don’t have it easy.”
