Letsile Tebogo who recorded a historic victory at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games lives a simple life as a cattle farmer in Botswana.
on X on Tuesday, 20 August when he told SABC’s broadcaster, Thomas Mlambo that he’s a cattle farmer.He says in the viral video: “I was in the farm this morning and I spent the night over there. Basically, in the farm what we do is. I mostly have cattle, and I need to have a solid plan on what I am going to do to increase the number of cattle.”
The 21-year-old recently made headlines when he clinched Botswana’s first-ever Olympic gold medal and also registered an African record in the men’s 200m event.It is reported that the athlete will receive P2.500 worth of groceries for 12 months and P1 million cash incentive from Choppies Botswana. He also receives a high-cost house from Botswana’s Ministry of Youth, Sport, Gender and Culture .
