Two men recently met their match after allegedly attempting to rob a cash-in-transit guard at a shopping complex, reportedly in Virginia, in the Free State, on Sunday. In a video shared on social media, the men walk away with injuries and fail to take the black case presumably full of cash.
The guard can be seen walking out of a Checkers store and they approach him from a different neighbouring store and try to take the case away from the guard, to no avail. Gunshots are heard as the guard is seen pointing a firearm at the alleged robbers, who run away from him a bit too late.The video has left South Africans amused, with YamkeleSodwele saying: “Job well done by this officer. These thugs deserved it. They are still amateurs. How can you shoot someone with a bullet proof [vest] on, on the body instead of the head. They got served.
