White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre will speak to reporters aboard Air Force One as the president travels to Queens, New York.The briefing comes after the Supreme Court ruled 6-3 against affirmative action. Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan dissented in the Students for Fair Admissions v. President and Fellows of Harvard College. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson dissented in the University of North Carolina case, joined by Sotomayor and Kagan.

With the court's ruling, race cannot be considered when colleges and universities go through admission processes. The Supreme Court had been mulling the case since November.President Joe Biden delivered remarks on the Supreme Court decision at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday
