DJ Sumbody was fatally shot and killed on Sunday morning
Close friends and family will gather on Saturday to bid farewell and take amapiano pioneer, musician and businessman Oupa 'DJ Sumbody' Sefoka to his final resting place.The musician was reportedly shot dead on SundayA statement by the family said, “details surrounding his passing cannot be disclosed as investigations are still ongoing”.
The DJ's memorial was held at Lewende Woord church in Centurion, and he was remembered as a hard-working, ambitious man who always made things happen. “He was an old soul, very grounded. It was sort of like you had a father and a friend in one person. He taught me a lot of things I didn't know and a lot of things I had forgotten from my parents and I'm very grateful to have had a friend like that.”
