The world-renowned choir performed at the ISPS Sports Values Summit on 9 August, which featured a panel that included Prince Harry, SU rector and vice-chancellor"Keep spreading the love," the Duke of Sussex told the choir before asking for a hug.

"Thank you that you spent so much time with us - for such an icon, so modest, oh my word," André van der Merwe, the SU Choir conductor, said to the Duke. The video was posted to Stellenbosch University's X account with the caption,"That moment Prince Harry meets the Stellenbosch University Choir and confesses to be a big fan."De Villiers and 50 of SU's choir members were invited to the summit by Dr Haruhisa Handa, a Japanese philanthropist and businessman, according to an SU press release. The summit featured various sporting veterans who were panellists with Prince Harry.

At the event, De Villiers said that SU wants"to be relevant to the people of our country, continent, and the rest of the world, and we want to make a meaningful contribution that will take humanity forward. And sport is part of this vision.""We were grateful to receive the invitation from the founder and chairman of ISPS to participate in the summit.
