A resident in Tlokwe in the North West has urged President Cyril Ramaphosa's administration to sort out their electricity woes.

"We buy about R100 worth of electricity, and it doesn't get us through the month," said Maria Mathloyi, 70, from ward 13.Ramaphosa was expected to conduct a walkabout in ward 13 as part of the ANC's election campaign ahead of the local government elections next month.

Before hitting the ground, the president is expected to meet with the ANC's provincial leadership, which includes North West Premier Busy Maape.
