The BoksburgAdvertiser held its second car boot sale for the year on March 4 and delighted vendors hailed the event a big success.

Traders at the Advertiser's car boot sale say the event is a great chance to make extra cash and clear out their pre-loved items.

“It’s my first time back after nine months due to health problems, but I’m back and I’m so excited. Especially for a good day like today as I’ve managed to sell quite a bit and made a profit in just a couple of hours.”Wensley pointed out that not only are car boot sales a great place to make some extra cash, as well as rid your home of some pre-loved items that have been gathering dust, but they also provide the opportunity for the traders to bag a bargain themselves.

Sellers arrive early to set up their stalls. This is a spot where customers with a keen eye can often pick up fine items that can be worth thousands for as little as a few rands.The Advertiser’s car boot sale is home to all sorts of bargains for all ages, ranging from valuable antiques and collectables to linen, clothing, kitchen appliances, tools, garden equipment, paintings, tools, kitchenware, books and toys.
