He was escorted to a newsagents in Uxbridge Road, Ealing, on Monday 10 April when he ran off at about 3pm.In a statement released via the Met Police, Abid’s family appealed directly: “Mosa – if you are reading this then please do the right thing and return to hospital so you can get the care and support you need.Officers searched the area but could not find him and CCTV enquiries in the local area continue. He was last seen wearing a navy hooded jacket, black trousers and blue trainers.

Detective Inspector Alistair Stillgoe, from the local policing team in west London, said: “I understand that the longer Mosa remains missing, the more concern will grow amongst the public.
