An email was sent out to both Halifax and Lloyds customers today

Halifax and Lloyds customers have been sent an email urging them to remain vigilant against online scammers. It comes following a rise in people being targeted on Facebook Market place.

Sharing their top tips, being are advised to ask themselves four questions before buying online. These include:Do you have to pay right away? A genuine seller won't pressure you into a quick sale. Genuine sellers should let you pay by card or some way that protects your money. Ask to see an item in person, especially if it’s local, large or expensive.
