Health Canada says some products sold at Pinky Floy and EJ Beauty in Burnaby and Richmond could pose serious health risks.
Health Canada is warning consumers about unauthorized health products, including eye drops, an eyewash and an acne gel, being sold at two stores in Metro Vancouver.
“Prescription drugs should be taken only under the advice and supervision of a healthcare professional because they are used to treat specific diseases and may cause serious side effects,” the agency said, in the warning posted Tuesday. Earlier this year, Health Canada seized the Kobayashi eyewash from another Richmond retailer Tokyo Beauty and Health Care.
