THE Met Office has released an urgent alert over torrential rain and gales tomorrow.
Two yellow weather warnings have been released for Wednesday, with rain and wind expected to batter much of southwest England.Heavy wind and rain could affect services and see trees fall downA man trying to step over the flooded areas of CambridgeshireAccording to the Met office, a short spell of heavy rain and gusty winds may cause some travel disruption.
And they warned: "Some short-term loss of power and other services is possible, with perhaps a few tree branches down too."Bus and train services are also expected to be affected, with journey times taking longer and roads to be covered in water from the torrential rain.
