No one, so far, has been arrested in either incident in Ajax and in Mississauga. The drive-by shooting behind a restaurant at 154 Harwood Ave. in Ajax left six people wounded, one with life-threatening injuries.
One thing that is noticeable in recent times us the terrifying disregard shooters have for people in the vicinity of their intended targets. It’s like they don’t care who they hit. “Six shooting victims identified at this time,” said Durham Police on Twitter. “Suspects fled the scene in a vehicle and investigators are looking for anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward.”Article content
The good news is police are going through video evidence from a camera that can be seen right above the shooting scene. What is known is this was one bloody Sunday night and early Monday morning. It is intolerable and yet it keeps happening.
