After a chilly stretch the past couple of days, milder weather will return later today across North Texas with highs in the upper 60s to near 70. It will be a dry day with partly to mostly sunny skies.
Even warmer air will push in Thursday with a high in the mid 70s. Unfortunately, a round of severe weather is also possible Thursday, especially during the afternoon hours. Hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes will be possible. Make sure to review your severe weather safety plan. A sharp cool-down will invade after the storms clear out.
A chilly March pattern will dominate North Texas weather Friday through the weekend with temperatures well below normal. Highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s are expected.
