A Concord woman was taken into custody following the early Saturday crash on North Main Street that also injured another person, police say.
WALNUT CREEK — A Concord woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after police say she hit two pedestrians early Saturday, killing one and injuring the other.
Responding officers reported that the driver of a pickup truck hit two pedestrians before crashing into a cement pillar, police said, adding that the victims were walking on the east sidewalk of North Main Street when they were hit.
