Wallabies coach Joe Schmidt feels that the Springboks are an impressive team but added that they had a bit of luck in their drawn series against Ireland..He will be very familiar with the Springboks and is hopeful that the green and gold juggernaut don’t get anymore ‘luck’ in the Rugby Championship. “South Africa looked pretty impressive, with the level and intensity of that Irish series,” Schmidt told reporters.“For South Africa, they tend to get a bit of luck from that perspective. He added: “They make a lot of their own luck with the quality of player and the connectedness that they have.“That breeds a confidence, and an almost unspoken trust amongst players, that they know what each other are going to do and they have an expectation of them doing it well.
Schmidt revealed that utility back Max Jorgensen would be fit to play despite a recent run of injuries, and said that inspirational lock Will Skelton could also still feature in The Rugby Championship despite not returning from French club duty for next weekend’s clash against the Springboks in Brisbane.
