MELBOURNE : Having likened Australia to a beaten-up car after the tight loss to Argentina, Eddie Jones will be flat out with repairs this week after the Wallabies crashed and burned against the All Blacks on Saturday.
Both Australia's leading tightheads have been ruled out, with Allan Alaalatoa in doubt for the World Cup after sustaining a serious Achilles injury and Taniela Tupou nursing a rib problem. Australia will be without co-captain Michael Hooper in Dunedin and possibly for the World Cup depending on the seriousness of his calf injury.
Jones noted bluntly that his players had run out of gas and the yellow cards would hardly have helped.
