As a rookie, Kessler averaged 9.2 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.3 blocks while playing in 74 games, with 40 starts. Last season, Kessler averaged 8.1 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.4 blocks while playing in 64 games, with 22 starts. “You got to take that moment as a moment of learning. And all of those, quote-unquote, failures aren’t really failures. It’s really just an opportunity to learn something, and as long as you’re learning something every day it’s a win. And so just as far as where my mentality is this year, that’s the way I’m approaching it.”
