Road in Wales blocked after 'mini tornado'
for wind and rain remains in place for the whole of Wales on Thursday until 19:00 GMT.
A further warning for high winds has been issued, which covers mostly western parts of the country until midnight. It includes Bridgend, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Conwy, Gwynedd, Anglesey, Neath Port Talbot, Pembrokeshire, Powys, Swansea, and the Vale of Glamorgan. A series of thundery showers swept across southern parts of Wales on Wednesday, bringing heavy rain and high winds.The National Grid said there there are 962 customers without power across south, west and mid Wales.
There are 14 incidents being dealt with, including a power cut in the Newport area of Pembrokeshire which has left 233 customers without electricity.More on this story
