The General Election takes place on Thursday, July 4
The General Election campaign is well under way, with politicians travelling the length and breadth of the UK in a bid to secure people's support ahead of polling day on July 4. But a legal expert has issued a warning to people ahead of a deadline that is looming in a few weeks.
He said: "The upcoming General Election highlights the importance of knowing how to vote and meeting the necessary deadlines. Statistics show that up to 8million people in the UK might not be correctly registered at their current address, which may exclude them from participating. "In-person voting is simple: visit your designated polling station, show a valid photo ID, and fill out the ballot paper. Polling stations are open from 7am to 10pm on election day, giving plenty of time to vote.
