Citizens have just a week to inspect the voters’ roll and lodge objections as to the inclusion or exclusion of a voter in it.published last week which specifies activities and cut-off dates for eligible voters and those intending to contest the 2024 national and provincial elections.
IEC Chief Electoral Officer Sy Mamabolo says the provisional voters’ roll has been published for inspection on Monday at all offices of the Commission and objections must be received on or before the 4th March for consideration, investigation and determination by the Commission by 11 March 2024.Mamabolo says electronic copies of the certified voters’ roll will be made available to contestants and a printed copy will be prepared for use in voting stations on Election Day.
