Volleyball: Clark Kaitlin Whitlock named E-N Player of the Week
Senior, outside hitter. Whitlock, who is committed to Arkansas State, led the Cougars to two victories in District 28-6A play with 17 kills, 11 digs, four block assists and two aces in a three-set win over Marshall and 25 kills, 17 digs and four aces in a four-set win over LEE.
It was a big bounce-back week for the Cougars, who went 4-4 at the Leander ISD tourna- ment the weekend before.had 21 kills and 23 digs in a four-set win over South San and 16 kills, 17 digs and four aces in a four-set loss against Floresville.had 30 kills and 15 digs in a five-set win against Gregory-Portland. She also had 16 kills and 12 digs in a three-set win over New Braunfels Christian.had 18 kills, 12 digs, five aces and five blocks in a five-set win over San Antonio Christian.
