Vodacom partners with China’s Alipay to create ‘super app’
Vodacom has teamed up with Jack Ma's Alipay to launch an e-commerce platform similar to China’s WeChat, the latest example of SA telecom companies seeking to branch out of basic telecom services as regulatory and competition pressure eat into their profit margins.
