Vodacom readies for inaugural SME Summit this week
Vodacom will host its first-ever SME Summit later this week.It is aimed at providing resources, knowledge, and networking opportunities to help small businesses.
The SME Thrive Summit as it has been dubbed, aims to provide resources, knowledge, and networking opportunities to help, as well as share ways in which they can help contribute to the sustained growth of the South African economy, according to organisers. “SMEs remain a crucial foundation of the South African economy. We recognise their vital contribution in fostering innovation, creating jobs, and spurring economic growth throughout the country. With the introduction of this summit, we are hoping to foster financial change and help SMEs grow their business, which will influence the country’s economic performance,” added Buhle Vilakazi, executive head of SMEs at Vodacom South Africa.
