Virgil van Dijk has made a brutal dig as a Manchester United fan described their 7-0 defeat to Liverpool as the worst day of their lives.

And in a recent media appearance with Pro Direct Soccer, Van Dijk made a ruthless quip at presenter, Harry Pinero, who supports United.
As "Dirty Old Town" by the Pogues played, a song altered for Van Dijk on the terraces. Pinero said: "7-6, let's go."Following the contest, the 32-year-old said that results against their rivals of that magnitude should not be taken for granted. And he is clearly still enjoying the result with United fans as his response left the presenter aghast.
