It makes me better every day. We had a couple of good battles and it was really fun.”
Villeneuve, who is destined for a spot with the Toronto Marlies next season, scored a late goal for Team White, the only goal for his side in a 4-1 loss. Mathieu De St. Phalle, Pano Fimis, Dylan Jackson and Noel Hoefenmayer, whose point shot might have been deflected, scored for Team Blue. Knies skated on a line with centre Fraser Minten and right winger Max Ellis. Knies had a couple of scoring chances in the latter stages of the scrimmage.
The development camp continues with on-ice sessions on Wednesday and Thursday before wrapping up with another scrimmage on Friday.
