Bradley Isherwood, 25, who has been placed on the Sex Offenders register for life has enrolled at the Open University.
A rapist who abused a woman whilst the Kings of Leon’s Sex On Fire played is spending his time in custody studying for a psychology and criminology degree.
She also told the court of how Isherwood had abused her between April 2016 and December 2021. Prosecutor Donald Davidson asked her to recall the assault and she said she had gone to bed in the moments before she was assaulted. She said she looked into the wall and tried to take herself away from where she was and that Isherwood’s male friend “could hear everything.”She replied: “He was clapping his hands and saying ‘come on Bradley, come on Bradley’ and playing that song. He was playing ‘Your Sex is on Fire’. He had an iPhone.”
The court had earlier heard how Isherwood, who has previous convictions, preyed on the women at locations in Edinburgh and Musselburgh, East Lothian. “When I was on the bed and he had me by the throat and i couldn’t speak back, he said he was going to kill me.”Another of Isherwood’s victims told the court of how she was targeted by him when she was aged just 14.
