Police have not yet made any arrests, an Orange Country Sheriff's Department said on Tuesday.
Footage posted online after a group of youths allegedly attacked two Marines has sparked outrage among concerned citizens.
"Several Marines and numerous juveniles and young adults" were involved in an incident on Friday, May 26, in the California city of San Clemente, local law enforcement said.
