A hiker who was stranded on a beach in San Francisco had to be rescued by the US Coast Guard via helicopter.
A man had to be rescued by Coast Guard Sector San Francisco after he got stuck on the beach with no way back up the cliff. The watchstanders in Sector San Francisco contacted the San Mateo County Fire Department and then dispatched a Coast Guard Air Station San Francisco MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew, reports say.
