The Ogden success spurred the foundation to look at the needs of the disadvantaged in the Forest Lawn area. Residents can access a monthly meal program and — in addition to a main floor kitchen and cafeteria — kitchenettes on each floor will be available with access to the Calgary Food Bank for food supplies, as residents move toward independent sustainability.
The 48 residential units will be in the four-storey, structurally sound concrete tower. Much of the main floor will be rented out to retail and selective services. Delaney says access to professional services is foundational for success in transforming lives.Article content
